Our “Students Tour” a.k.a. “Faith, Culture and Generosity” tour is designed to allow each student to dig deeper into their spiritual self, learn to adapt and respect other cultures as well as to participate in making a difference in the life of other Muslims. Students will start off their mornings bright and early with Dhikr, prayers and Quran recitation. The rest of the day consists of physical activities, volunteer opportunities, sightseeing tours, Arabic intensive classes, and halal fun.

Morocco sits at the crossroads between Africa, Europe and the Middle East. A multi-lingual, multi-ethnic society, Morocco draws from the many influences which has shaped its history, culture and geography. From the modern business center of Casablanca to the ancient city centers or medinas of Rabat, from the cool lush Mediterranean coast to the hot Saharan desert sands, from quiet Berber villages to the exuberant music of the markets of Marrakesh, Morocco has a vast array of experiences to offer.
Morocco is one of those countries so different from the Western world that it may not be easy to blend in. Still, spend some time with the Berbers and you’ll get more from your trip than any photo can express. Maybe you’ll share a plate of baghrir (Moroccan pancakes) or tajine (a delicious braised stew cooked with fruits and spices). Consider watching a traditional Ahwach dance and sitting on the sidelines of a soccer game. (If you do, be sure to learn the offside rule from the people whose national team is considered the best in Africa!) With a little cultural understanding before you leave, you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome when you arrive. And don’t forget to cross your right hand over your heart to show them you’re sincere.
